St. Cloud State Infielder Signs

NCAA DII Infielder, Sawyer Smith will be joining the Foxes this summer.

Sawyer Smith is a freshman infielder at St. Cloud State University. As of 4/20, Sawyer is currently hitting .333 for the Huskies. He is originally from Sturtevant, WI and attended Shoreland Lutheran High School. He was a varsity starter all 4 years, and his senior year of high school he was named 2021 MCC 1st Team All-Conference, 2021 MCC Player of the Year, 2021 WBCA Academic All-District, 2021 WBCA 1st Team All-District, 2021 WBCA D3 District Player of the Year, and 2021 WBCA All-State Honorable Mention.

Along with baseball, Sawyer enjoyed playing basketball and football throughout his high school career.
