Foxes Get their 1st win of the Season and in Franchise History.

Lakeside Beach Bums lost the lead late in an 11-6 defeat to Waukesha Foxes on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Waukesha Foxes batting in the top of the seventh when Isaac Schmidt singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.


Despite the loss, Lakeside Beach Bums did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Waukesha Foxes had eight hits on the way to victory.


Waukesha Foxes opened up scoring in the first inning, when Sam Meidenbauer lined out, driving in a run.


Lakeside Beach Bums put up four runs in the third inning. Justin Kerestes and Tim Whitfield each had RBIs in the big inning.


Alex Amin earned the win for Waukesha Foxes. The righthander lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out six and walking one.


Noah Eggert took the loss for Lakeside Beach Bums. Eggert allowed three hits and five runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three.


Luke Bruckner started the game for Waukesha Foxes. The lefty surrendered six runs on eight hits over four innings, striking out six


Lakeside Beach Bums racked up eight hits in the game. Peyton Becker and Dylan Carrington each collected multiple hits for Lakeside Beach Bums. Becker went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Lakeside Beach Bums in hits.


Waukesha Foxes saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game. Meidenbauer and Sawyer Smith each had multiple hits for Waukesha Foxes.
